Employability Project

At Mirfield College we have a very successful employability project which all students are required to complete. The project is recorded via hours and students will receive a certificate at completion.

Our Employability project includes:

•  CV workshops
• UCAS applications for all Year 12 & 13s
• Mock interviews  
• External employer visits to meet and speak with students
• Additional Careers advice on apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships
• Tutorials on professional workplace mannerisms
• Importance of social media – employers check 
• Team building with the British Army
• Soft skills developed through 121s
• MOOCS
• Progression Module
• Professional Placement
