This course provides students with entrepreneurial skills and knowledge which enables them to study business at a higher level, to establish their own business in the market or to develop practical skills which can be used to access a variety of employment or further education opportunities in the future.

Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics and Grade 4 in GCSE English Language.
Assessment
Externally Assessed Units = 58%
Internally Assessed Units = 42%

Unit 3 – Business decisions (Externally assessed)
Unit 6 – Marketing Strategy
Unit 7- Marketing Campaign
Unit 15- Change management (externally assessed)
Unit 22 – Delivering a business project (internally assessed)
Future Opportunities
The course provides an excellent foundation for pursuing further studies in the various areas of business, such as management, business law, business administration and retail. Students who have passed this qualification have gone on to study business studies at university and its related courses, such as events management, accountancy, law and operations management.
